**** “Consumer” is used to address all groups of lay people (people who are not healthcare professionals, nor G-I-N member) who contribute to or could potentially contribute to evidence-based clinical practice guidelines. This includes people who have a condition or disability relevant to guidelines in use, in development or in need of development, or being implemented. It also includes people such as family and friends who provide unpaid care for them. And, it includes individuals from organisations representing consumers interests, including voluntary sector or non-governmental organisations. Synonyms of consumer include 'patients', 'carers' 'Consumer advocates', 'service user', 'user representative' or 'patient representative'.

Online Registration Procedure
1. If you have already created an account (e.g. when submitted an abstract) Click the “On-line registration” button and log in to the website.
2. If you do not possess an existing account on the website you will be asked to create one to enable accessing the online registration page.
3. Select the relevant registration options and click on Confirm
4. Review your registration page and click on Save if relevant
5. Enter your credit card details and validate
Cancellation and Refund Policy
All cancellations must be received in writing (this includes e-mail, fax and post), and acknowledged by us. As we incur administration costs in cancelling your booking, all cancellations are subject to a US$75 processing fee. If your written cancellation fee is received before Friday 1st July 2011 then a full refund will be given minus the stipulated processing fee. No refund shall be given for cancellations received after Friday 1st July 2011. In the event of cancellation by reason of force majeure a 50% refund shall be made at our discretion. All refunds will be issued after the date of the conference.
